Technical Info
Bayer
Soil sampling every 5 years, with carbon sequestration modeled on a yearly basis via external peer-reviewed models. Payment is on a per acre basis vs. tones sequestered.
Growers provide historical farm management data through Climate FieldView (R) and field photos of practices implemented.
Payment would not be made for years when practices were not implemented; payments resume upon practice verification.
