Webinar: Making Riparian Forest Buffers Work For You

Join Wisconsin Land+Water, Wisconsin NRCS, and the Savanna Institute for a webinar series. Every final Thursday, the Savanna Institute will introduce an agroforestry practice and talk more about the ways it can benefit your local land, water and communities.

Riparian forest buffers are combinations of trees and shrubs designed to mitigate the impacts of land use on a water feature. These areas are connections between aquatic and upland habitats for wildlife and can also serve as linear connections to other habitat areas along the water feature. We will go over NRCS criteria and guidance.
