Illinois Farmland Access Initiative

Join us Wednesday, June 16, from 1-2:30pm CT to discuss a new Farmland Access Initiative for Illinois. The Land Connection, The Conservation Fund, and Liberty Prairie Foundation have been hard at work researching, convening, strategizing, and fundraising to develop farmland access solutions that work for Illinois.

We hope that you will join us, and together we will to put into action a comprehensive strategy that supports,

• More beginning farmers gaining long-term access to farmland
• More equitable access to farmland and farm financing for all farmers
• Strategic farmland transition and succession to avoid farmland consolidation
• Increased opportunities for local and regenerative food farming
• Economically and socially resilient rural communities
