Tile to Tap Field Day

New micro-wetlands help clean water flow from farms to Lake Springfield, removing excess nutrients from agricultural tile drainage water. On June 24 you can see these new nitrate removal systems at a working Loami farm. The Wetlands Initiative, along with Staley Farms, welcomes local farmers, conservation/agriculture professionals, and the public to see the two newly constructed wetlands up close before they become fully operational next spring.
