Illinois Cover Crop Field Tour & Open House

Join the Illinois Soybean Association and Illinois Extension at the SIU Belleville Research Center anytime between 3–6 p.m. to explore a wide variety of cover crop research plots. View comparisons of species, planting rates, timings, and mixes at your own pace while visiting with staff and researchers.

Enjoy homemade pie from Braeutigam Orchard and ice cream from Rolling Lawns Farm, available while supplies last. Drop in to see cover crops at their peak, grab a snack, and talk through what’s working, what’s not, and how it fits into your operation.

Registration is requested to help us plan, but it is not required. Attendees are welcome to drop in anytime from 3:00 – 6:00 PM.
