Dollars and Sense in the Lake Decatur Watershed

Join AFT, City of Decatur, and partners on Thursday, January 29 for a day filled with tools and resources to help you understand the economic considerations of conservation practices in the field! The morning will kick off with a recap of the Lake Decatur Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) followed by a presentation on tools to improve your record keeping. We’ll also discuss the ROI of edge-of-field practices, additional financial assistance for conservation practices, and hear from farmers that are using conservation methods on their fields. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Stick around after lunch! American Farmland Trust will host a short informational session for any farmers interested in learning more about Farmer-Led Advances in Soil Health (FLASH) groups.
