Mental Health First Aid Training

Hosted by Marbleseed, the Mental Health First Aid Training provides the farming community and technical advisors with the tools to raise awareness about mental health challenges prevalent in farming communities, reduce stigma, and facilitate open conversations about well-being. This can help create a supportive environment where farmers feel comfortable seeking help and support.

Participants will:

• Provides participants with tools and self-care strategies to manage their own mental health effectively. By prioritizing their well-being, advisors and farmer supporters can better help farmers and be positive role models within their communities.

• Learn how to play a pivotal role in addressing mental health challenges within farming communities. They contribute to a culture of understanding, support, and resilience, promoting the overall well-being of farmers and their families.
