2025 Pennycress Field Day

This day has been established to introduce the new winter annual crop Field Pennycress to local producers. Researchers along with industry representatives will be present to discuss this very unique short season crop. Five years of research have been completed towards the development and commercial launch of pennycress. Research will be presented and the day will discuss abiotic stresses impacting pennycress production, crop rotations with pennycress, economics on Illinois crop rotation, and more!
