Soybean Summit

The 2023 Soybean Summit: All Stars Edition will be held Thursday, February 2^nd at the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign, IL. This year’s event will be hybrid, offering in-person and virtual options for attendance. Registration is free but not required for this event. Walk-ins will be accepted. Register before January 15^th to receive a Soybean Summit gift box.

The Soybean Summit, funded by the Illinois Soybean Association checkoff program, gathers growers from across the state the opportunity to gain agronomic information and insights from leading soybean experts across the country. Topics this year include yield-increasing practices with precision, pest management, understanding biological products, the future of conservation and nutrient management, navigation of the carbon space, value-added with high yield soybean opportunities, “Science for Success” participants, as well as exclusive farmer panels.

For the first time, the Soybean Summit will host an undergraduate and graduate student research poster competition. Cash awards for first, second, and third places will be presented and prizes for participants who attend.

The Soybean Summit will also host a canned food drive for the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the event on February 2^nd. Bring more than 5 canned items and be entered to win a Yeti Cooler.

CEU credits will be available for CCAs attending Soybean Summit.
