Resources to Address Deer Impacts to Woodlands

The 2024 Extension Forestry Webinar Series includes a different weekly presentation each Wednesday at 2:00 pm Central starting on July 31th.  You can choose to sign up for any or all of them! Virtual sessions are 1-hour in length, open to the public, and free to attend.  ISA Continuing Education credits have been applied for.

White-tailed deer are an important part of Midwestern forests, but their browsing has an impact on forest health. On August 28, explore tools available from Purdue University Extension and The Nature Conservancy of Indiana that are designed to help woodland owners and managers understand, monitor, and manage deer impacts on forest ecosystems.
