On Tuesday, September 12^th from 4-7pm, join Central Illinois farming families in Homer, IL for an evening full of good food, thoughtful conversation, and helpful tips and tricks for planning the future of your farmland! You’ll hear from farm families about their experiences with succession planning, learn from our guest speaker, Brooke Didier Starks, a Champaign local with more than 20 years of experience helping Midwest families with farm succession planning, about common mistakes to avoid, and connect with local resources to support your family through the planning process.

We know planning for the future of your farmland can be challenging, and at times overwhelming. This event will demystify the process of farmland transfers and equip you and your family with the skills, knowledge, and resources you’ll need to be successful. All generations who may play a role in the farm’s future, including family and non-family members, are encouraged to attend.
