Nitrogen Workshop

Join American Farmland Trust and the Vermilion Headwaters Watershed Partnership on July 23^rd at the Forrest Community Center from 5 to 8 PM for a nitrogen management workshop focused on in-field practices that reduce nitrate loss without sacrificing farm profitability. Learn how to further increase the efficiency of local N-management with guest speakers Lowell Gentry from the University of Illinois and Nic Anderson from the Illinois Livestock Development Group. Local Ag Retailers will be on hand in addition to Staff from your local Soil and Water Conservation District, the Soil Health Partnership, and the Precision Conservation Management Program. A free dinner and new nitrogen management resource will be available for all that register.
