Illinois Cover Crop On-Farm Network – Cover Crop Cocktails

The third session in ICCON’s four-part summer series, Cover Crop Cocktails, features Bethany Bedeker from University of Missouri Center for Regenerative Agriculture. Bethany will discuss cover crops to address field issues of compaction and weed control.

Bethany Bedeker (Wohrley) is the Cover Crop Education Specialist at the MU Center for Regenerative Agriculture. She has a M.S. in Agriculture with a concentration in Agriscience – Agronomy from Illinois State University. She grew up in rural Illinois and previously worked in an agricultural retail setting before returning for her graduate degree. Her graduate research involved the development of agronomic recommendations for the introduction of pennycress as a new cover crop.
