Hosted by Jake and Josh Lieb, Soil Health Partnership farmers, the day willl include Barry Fisher (USDA NRCS) discussing cover crops with late planting, and general tips for quick establishment in Central IL. Stephanie Frischie (Xerces) will share how covers (and the beneficial insects they attract) can be a welcome addition to your IPM plan, and we’ll take a tour of the Liebs’ soybeans that were planted into 4′ rye this spring.

The day begins with a free lunch at 11:30, with programming beginning at 12:30pm.
