This webinar will offer tips for post construction management, a quick demo on how to advise farmers on the management of their bioreactors and saturated buffers and a template outreach letter, management calendar and other tools to make managing these practices simple.

Presenters:

Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) CEO, Clare Lindahl, will moderate the session.

Agricultural Drainage Management Coalition (ADMC) Executive Director and SWCS Member, Keegan Kult, will share his expertise. Keegan has been working with agricultural water management for more than 15 years and has been part of over a 100 edge of field practice installations, the development of new conservation practice standards, and to the scientific literature documenting practice performance and cost effectiveness.

Chris Hay, Owner and Principal of Christopher Hay Consulting and SWCS Member, will also share some of the current and coming tools to remind farmers about managing these practices. Chris has over three decades of experience in agricultural water management and water quality. He has developed, led, and collaborated in a variety of applied research, implementation, and educational outreach projects for conservation drainage practices such as bioreactors, saturated buffers, controlled drainage, and drainage water recycling.
