Partnership Watershed Coordinator

Through an agreement between the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and The National Great Rivers Research & Education Center (NGRREC) a full-time areawide watershed planning expert will be supported to bolster and facilitate watershed planning efforts across the state of Illinois. The person in this position will act as a subject matter expert in conservation and environmental planning and will provide knowledge and education to Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) staff and other technical support partners such as NGRREC’s Land Conservation Specialists (LCS) on how they can incorporate areawide planning into their practice as conservation professionals.
